This app does not record anything. It finds the call recordings your phone has already saved, lets you play them, rename them and tidy them up. There is no account, no upload, and no server run by iTH Studio that receives audio.
Recordings are produced by your phone's own dialler, when you turn on automatic call recording in that app's settings. Whether the feature exists at all, and whether the law where you live permits it, is a matter between you, your device manufacturer and your local rules. This app only reads files that are already on the phone.
With your permission, the app looks through the audio files stored on your device to find the folder your dialler writes call recordings into. It reads the audio itself so it can play it back, along with each file's name, size and date. On many phones the file name contains the other party's phone number, because that is how the dialler names it.
All of this is processed on the device, purely to display a list you can browse. None of it is transmitted to iTH Studio, shared with advertisers, or sold. The developer has no technical means of hearing your recordings or seeing who you called.
Any labels, notes or favourites you add inside the app are also stored locally, alongside the app's own settings.
Anything that leaves your phone leaves because you sent it. If you share a recording through email, a messaging app or cloud storage, that file is then handled by whichever service you chose, under that service's own terms.
You can withdraw any of these in Android settings at any time. Without file access the app cannot show your recordings, which is the whole of its function.
Deleting a recording in the app deletes the underlying file from your phone, and it cannot be recovered by iTH Studio. Uninstalling the app removes its own settings and labels; the recordings themselves belong to your device's storage and remain unless you delete them.
To stop new recordings from being created, turn off automatic call recording in your phone's dialler settings. That setting is outside this app's control.
The app is free and is funded by advertising through Google AdMob. Ads are selected using device-level information that Google collects, including your advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, device model and operating system version. Your recordings, the file names and the numbers they contain are never sent to the advertising system and are never used for ad targeting.
Google's handling of advertising data is described on the Google privacy and terms pages. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings under Privacy and then Ads.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent form appears the first time you open the app, asking whether personalised advertising is allowed. You can reopen it from the app's settings and change your answer at any time.
Manufacturers store call recordings in different folders, use different file formats, and some phones offer no call recording at all. If nothing appears in the app, it usually means the dialler's recording feature is switched off or unavailable on that model. This is a platform limitation rather than a choice made by the app.
Google Play collects anonymous crash and performance reports from apps distributed through the Play Store and shows them to developers in aggregate. These reports describe device state and where the code failed. They contain no audio and no file names.
The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from them.
Since nothing leaves your phone, there is no account for iTH Studio to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf, and no request is needed to remove your data. Rights under the GDPR, the CCPA and comparable laws that relate to advertising data should be directed to Google, which acts as the controller for that data. You can limit collection by resetting your advertising ID, withdrawing consent in the app, or uninstalling the app.
If the app begins handling data differently, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
